I recently had the opportunity to perform a song I wrote with fantastic writers Hal ODell @halinthemountains , Greg Wilson @gregwilsonmusic , and Cody Kelley @codykelleyofficial called, "The Power of a Song" in the heart of downtown Nashville! The song tells the story of the true power of music and its ability to speak to people in a way that words cannot match. It is tragic to hear about the loss of Craig Wilson. I remember when we first moved Nashville I was performing on Broadway and ended up going to the roof top, that is where I met Craig, he was so kind. We connected and he was nice enough to invite me to Anthem Entertainment to write. I also had him perform as a guest for one of the Cade Country songwriters rounds. He took the time to share his thoughts on the industry and some of its levers. May God give peace to Craig’s friends and family.

This is going to be a special trip back to Kentuck

This is going to be a special trip back to Kentucky on Tuesday. Giving Guitars had the honor to perform for a domestic violence facility called Operation Care where families are staying for shelter and security. We donated a guitar for the residents to use and it was inspiring to see what they do for those in need. We are now going back for the Operation Care 2023 Gala in Shelbyville where Giving Guitars will bring another guitar to be auctioned so they can raise money to keep their program going!
